I had a large rosemary bush that split itself and started growing in a neighboring flower bed. One plant needed to be taken out. It was getting leggy and was not thriving. I cut off the stems that were in good condition (green, fresh, bug free) to dry. After 4 weeks, I stripped the now very dry leaves off the stems and put them in a jar. With little effort I had more than a year’s worth of dried rosemary leaves to use for cooking, rosemary herb tea, or for a facial steam.
It’s easy to do and takes little time.
