What better way to show friends and family how great “food storage” food is than to give them a gift from your Home Storage Kitchen. Below are suggested recipes found in Pantry Cooking: Unlocking Your Pantry’s Potential (PC) and on Pantry Cooking Plus that can be given as “gifts in a jar.”
“Gifts in a Jar” can easily be made from the following recipes. Check cooking instructions to determine whether some of the ingredients should be packaged separately. Those ingredients, put into a small bag, can be put in the top of the container before it is closed or attached to the outside with a ribbon. Some recipe’s ingredients can be layered, such as Pantry Soup Mix, to give visual flair to your gift. Be sure to attach cooking instructions and/or suggested ways to use your gift.
