A bowl of black beans and salsa over rice

BLACK BEANS AND RICE (Pantry Cooking with Home Preserved Foods)

Chunky salsa
Cooked black beans
Hot cooked rice

Combine salsa with twice as much cooked beans in a saucepan. Heat thoroughly over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot cooked rice. May also be used as a chunky dip with spicy crackers, saltines, and/or tortilla chips.
