Leftover pastry dough is often made into something sweet. Try this next time and serve these easy crackers with soup or a salad.
HERB PASTRY CRACKERS (Pantry Cooking II)
Roll out pastry as thin as pie crust but roll into a rectangle or square. Trim edges straight. Cut pastry into 1-inch squares. Prick each square with a fork. Brush pastry with water and lightly sprinkle Herb Blend over all. Transfer to a non-stick or greased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 400o oven for about 8 minutes or until pastry is lightly browned. Cool before serving. Store in an airtight container.
