3 cups water
1 box powdered pectin
1 package unsweetened drink powder such as Kool-Aid or Wyler’s, any flavor
3 cups sugar
Mix water, pectin, and drink powder together. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Stir in sugar. Stir and bring to a full rolling boil that cannot be stirred down. Boil hard for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Quickly skim off foam with a large metal spoon. Ladle into hot, sterilized jars leaving 1/4-inch headspace. Wipe jar rims. Put on warm lids and canning rings. Process in a boiling water canner using the hot pack method.
